Our Studio

Our story began in 2013 when Dennis Hellyar established our studio following 20 years of experience at large architecture practices. We have since grown to a team of four with a broad knowledge base across residential, community, educational and commercial building projects. Welcoming clients large and small, we provide architectural services on a range of developments from one-off houses, extensions and refurbishments to master-planning and delivery of commercial developments. Based in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, we are focussed on South Wales and the South West and take on projects across the UK and beyond.

    A licensed architect in the UK and Spain, Chuso has extended our 3D modelling capabilities by drawing on the latest in design technology. He has expertise in design principles paired with experience managing information systems across residential and commercial projects.

    Callum joined us as a new graduate with a first-class degree in Architecture. He is currently working towards chartered status. Callum has working experience in design principles, building systems, construction detailing, design technology and project management.

  • As soon as Dennis came up to the farm, he was full of ideas. There was a 'suggestion' for a change in the plans from our local planning office but Dennis overcame this easily and in fact, it worked to our benefit. We love our extension and how it has made our lives less cramped and full of light and fresh air!
